My Roles

Planning

During the project, I chose to be on the event planning team. My interest in event planning combined with my past experience made me feel like this was the perfect team for my contributions. My team as a whole brainstormed to come up with the event, collected donations, and organized the logistics of the Pledge days.

I helped a great deal in the brainstorming and planning aspect of the ALL INtegrity campaign. As a group, we came up with the idea of the pledges. I also helped to brainstorm some of the marketing ideas such as the QR code.

I spent much of my time contacting local businesses to get them involved with the campaign. I helped raise the awareness in the local community about ALL INtegrity and the role businesses could play. I successfully gained donations from TD's, BGR, and Aspen Heights. These donations were given in the form of discounts or gift cards.

Group Liaison

Distributor

Jessie Tanner and I were the main distributors of the prizes from the campaign. We went around campus during finals week to find those individuals displaying their ALL INtegrity stickers and gave them prizes. We also took their pictures and posted them on the ALL INtegrity Facebook to spread even more buzz about the campaign and what we're doing.

My main role in the class was the group liaison for the event planning team. I was the one who went to the meetings at the end of each class with Billy and the other liaisons to discuss what each branch was doing and how we could help each other out. Through this, I was able to keep everyone up-to-date on the status of the event. I was also able to encourage those in other groups to help support us with marketing and PR. Additional brainstorming also took place during these meetings to figure out how best to coordinate contributions from each group's skills.
